UpToDate requires an account to download the mobile app & UpToDate Anywhere / Mobile Web.
The first time users log in to UpToDate through SSO, a new UpToDate account will be created. If already using an UpToDate account, merge accounts during registration process. After completing registration, your UpToDate username is your URMC Email address.
After creating an account:
Mobile app
- Contains full UpToDate clinical content with optimized mobile interfaces, mobile-optimized calculators, and a CME accrued/CME tracker. You may install the app on two devices.

- Enter username (URMC or UR email address) then will be logged in through SSO. Reaffiliating access every 90 days is no longer required.
UpToDate Anywhere / Mobile Web Access
- Designed to adapt to mobile devices and is optimized for smaller screens.
- Users can go to directly to UpToDate, enter username (URMC or UR email address) then will be logged in through SSO.
