More than 11,000 physicians and scientists, all committed to preventing kidney disease and making life better for patients, work together as members of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN).Through advocacy, ASN informs policymakers about issues of importance to kidney doctors and their patients. The American Society of Pediatric Nephrology is an organization of pediatric nephrologists and affiliated health care professionals. Our primary goals are to promote optimal care for children with kidney disease through advocacy, education and research; and to disseminate advances in clinical practice and scientific investigation. The International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) is comprised of roughly 1500 pediatric nephrologists and allied professionals representing 89 countries around the world. Since 1973, the Renal Physicians Association (RPA) has been dedicated to representing and serving nephrology practitioners in their pursuit and delivery of quality renal health care.
