VisualDx is a diagnostic clinical decision support system designed to enhance accuracy, aid therapeutic decisions, and improve patient safety. VisualDx includes medical images, patient handouts, and medication-diagnosis relationships.
- Database covers 3,200 diagnoses represented by 45,000 of the best medical images and 3,700 Sympticons to visually represent disease.
- Expanded content across general medicine as well as infectious disease, dermatology, STDs, travel medicine, and more.

- Available on the web and mobile devices, via the App Store and Google Play.

VisualDx Mobile App
URMC has an institutional subscription to VisualDx including DermExpert.
There are specific mobile download instructions to ensure you can use VisualDx app. VisualDx Mobile is available as a native iPhone, iPad, and Android apps.
- Go to VisualDx from a computer connected to the URMC Network.
- Click Create a Personal Account and fill out the information to create a personal login account. This must be done before downloading app.
- Go to App Store or Google Play, search VisualDx, download app and enter the personal login username and password you just created.
