What is ILLiad?

ILLiad is the resource sharing management software used by Miner Library to process Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery requests. It only takes a few minutes to setup an account and you can immediately begin submitting requests.

What is Electronic Delivery?

Electronic delivery means that articles and book chapters are sent to your ILLiad account in PDF format. You will receive an email from ILLiad when your item is available.

To retrieve it:
1. Log into ILLiad.
2. Under "View Electronically Received Articles", select the .pdf icon for the article. .
3. Articles can be retrieved for 60 days so we recommend you print the article or save it on you computer for future reference.

Copyright Statement

U.S. Copyright Law prohibits the copying of multiple chapters from a single book, multiple articles from a single journal issue, or an entire work. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in our judgment, fufillment of the order would violate copyright law.

We have a lot of resources..but not everything you need. When Miner doesn't own it...request it using our Interlibrary Loan service and we'll get it for you!

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a FREE service for UR affiliates to borrow books and obtain journal articles, book chapters and other research materials not owned by or currently unavailable from the Miner Library.

Submit a request through ILLiad and Library staff will obtain materials from other libraries on your behalf.

It generally takes 1-2 business days to fill a journal article request and approximately 7-10 days to fill a book request. However, many requests are filled sooner.

We know you're let us scan articles & deliver them to you!

Document Delivery

Document Delivery is a FREE service for UR affiliates to request copies of journal articles or book chapters from materials in the Miner Library (or other UR library) collection. Requests are submitted through ILLiad. Materials are scanned and delivered electronically to your ILLiad account. The general turnaround time is 24 hours (M-F).
