Health Equity Education: Framework

Health Equity Education: Framework

In an effort to support health equity education throughout the URMC, the Health Equity Education Task Force created the KEE (Knowledge, Empathy, Equity) Curriculum Framework for Health Equity Education.  There were two underlying principles guiding our work:

  • Establish and track STANDARD health equity components across the institution (based on national competencies)
  • Support FLEXIBILITY of each program to teach in a way that will be most effective and impactful for their learners
