The Electronic Residency Application Service, developed by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), is a service which transmits residency applications and related credentials from medical schools to residency programs directors using the internet.
This is a database with over 9,300 graduate medical education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (AGCME), as well as over 100 combined specialty programs. The American Medical Association works in conjunction with the Association of American Medical Colleges on this.
