Setting up Nomad

 

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that facilitates access to the Libraries' full text resources as you find research on the web. LibKey Nomad provides one-click access to full text from websites like PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and publisher pages.

Currently, LibKey Nomad is available for the following browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Brave & Vivaldi.

How to set up LibKey Nomad
  1. Go to the Download LibKey Nomad website
  2. Click on the icon for your browser of choice and follow the prompts to add the extension
  3. Choose University of Rochester as your institution.

BrowZine: view subscribed journals via deskop or app

Browse the most recent issues of a wide array of journals in an electronic format. You can build your own bookshelf of journals you would like to receive updates when new issues come out. Available for iPads and Android tablets and in a browser. 

  • Tablet version provides PDF's which can be saved in a variety of programs such as reference management software, Box.com.
  • Web Version allows patrons to read articles online from a web browser.
  • Requires an account to save favorite journals.

After downloading free app choose University of Rochester as your university affiliation and log in with your URMC email/network account or UR NetID.

Available to University of Rochester students, staff and faculty from Miner Library.

Miner Library doesn't have Full Text? Use ILLiad

ILLiad  is the resource sharing management software used by Miner Library to process Interlibrary Loan and Digitization requests. Login with your URMC AD credentials. Electronic delivery means that articles and book chapters are sent to your ILLiad account in PDF format. You will receive an email when your item is available.
